Nurturing Care Autism Initiative: The Nurturing Care Autism Initiative addresses elementary school-age children with autism and working within an ecumenical network across the Midwest and Southeast to offer caring nurture to a growing segment of the population often overlooked by faith communities. 

Disability Ministry Network: Disability Ministry Network is a network of denominational and para-church organizations who promote inclusive congregational ministries for and with people with disabilities, their families, friends, and caregivers. The scope and focus of the Network is on Christian ministries primarily within the United States, but connections are welcomed with those who share this mission in other countries.

Nazarene Disability Ministry: Nazarene Disability Ministry, a ministry of Nazarene Discipleship International networks denominational resources including the Adapted Discipleship Library (ADL), information regarding online small groups for families with disabilities, and Nurturing Care Project.

Wonderful Works Ministry: The Ministry provides multiple resources including the Adapted Discipleship Library, a free Disability Ministry Resource for Churches and Families. “We believe that the gospel is for everyone. Which is why we provide tools to help churches and families work together to disciple children impacted by disability.”

Baylor Center for Disability and Flourishing: The Baylor Center for Disability and Flourishing invests in research, training, outreach, and clinical services that promote the flourishing of people with disabilities, their families, and communities.

Center for Disability and Ministry: The Center for Disability and Ministry at Western Theological Seminary exists to support ministry leaders of all abilities in nurturing and receiving the gifts and contributions of persons with disabilities through formational opportunities, including theological education, consultation, forums, and publications.

International Sites

The majority of the rest of these resources exist outside the United States. Overall they provide better sense of the shared efforts to resource and support disability ministries as well as neurodivergent persons.

Centre For Autism and Theology: The Centre for Autism and Theology  aims to be an international hub for autism and theology research. Our research is interdisciplinary and is done in connection with the third sector, interested individuals and other parties. 

CBM Australia Resources: CBM Australia is part of a Christian international development organisation devoted to improving the lives of people with disabilities in the poorest places on earth. Keith Dow: Images of God Through the Lens of Disability: This project was made possible through the Psychology Cross-Training for Theologians Fellowship, funded by the John Templeton Foundation. The fellowship brings together early-career theologians and leading psychologists to explore how insights from psychological science can deepen theological reflection.
